business ethics are important but are difficult to implement. I am a member of a professional organization with a defined policy that is ethics in the statutes. there are allegations of ethics violations against 3 members, but nobody wants to sit on an ethics committee for fear of personal liability. This situation ridiculous mired in politics and fear of reprisals.
